Ryan O'Neal to write a book about his relationship with the late Farrah Fawcett

Ryan O'Neal to write a book about his relationship with the late Farrah Fawcett
Ryan O'Neal is to write a book about his relationship with Farrah Fawcett.

The actor dated the Charlie's Angels star—who died aged 62 after losing a three-year battle with anal cancer in June 2009—on and off for over 20 years and wants to chronicle their romance in a memoir set for release early next year.

Tina Constable—senior VP/publisher at Crown Archetype, the company who will publish the book—said: "Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett's public and private relationship is one of the great Hollywood romances and has fascinated people for more than three decades. Now, Ryan has decided to stop letting other people tell his and Farrah's story and to instead share their epic tale of love and heartbreak himself."

The tome, which is tentatively titled Past Imperfect, will also feature never-before-seen photos and documents from their life together.

Last year, Ryan—who has a 26-year-old son, Redmond O'Neal, with Farrah—claimed he can still hear Farrah's voice and missed the blonde beauty every day.

He said: "I hear her voice, I see her silhouette. I miss her cooking. I haven't had a good meal since she left me. It's harder than I thought. I miss her. We all miss her."

As well as the book Ryan, 70, has made two documentaries about Farrah's battle with cancer.

Paris Hilton's boyfriend attacked outside court

Paris Hilton's boyfriend attacked outside court
A "psycho" attacked Paris Hilton's boyfriend, Cy Waits, outside court yesterday (April 27).

The socialite was on her way to testify against Nathan Parada—who is alleged to have tried to break into her property wielding a knife in August 2010—when a man jumped at Cy, punched at the back of his head and tried to grab his neck.

The man—later identified as James Rainford, who has also, separately, been arrested for trespassing on Paris' property in October 2010—was wrestled to the ground by the couple's security team outside the courthouse in Van Nuys, California.

Paris, 30, tweeted her shock at the incident, writing: "On my way to the court house to testify against the intruder. I'm very nervous to see him face to face again. :(

"Omg @KathyHilton! That other psycho intruder just punched Cy in the back of the head as we were walking into the court house. So scary! :( (sic)"

A representative for Paris later told E! News: "After the attack, they realized he is the same intruder that showed up to her home on a bicycle a few months ago. They are both a bit shaken up but thankful security acted quickly."

James was taken into police custody, and later claimed he had only been trying to get an autograph from Paris and to ask her father, Rick, for permission to ask her to marry him.

James is currently still on probation for misdemeanor assault and there is also a restraining order in place against him requiring that he stay at least 200 yards away from the blonde hotel heiress.

After her court appearance, Paris later tweeted about Nathan, writing: "So creepy seeing that guy in court today, it sent shivers down my spine. Now on my way to @URM to make Mother's Day cards with the kids. (sic)"
If found guilty Nathan Parada faces a maximum of three years in prison for felony charge attempted first-degree burglary.

The actor-and-producer has called the "Baby" hitmaker "really talented" and said the pair have already started working together on a project with Hollywood studio Paramount, which is yet to be officially announced.

He said: "Justin Bieber and I are going to do a movie together.

"We're putting it together. Yeah, we're doing it at Paramount. We pitched them the idea, and we talked to him about doing it and he loved the idea. Been sending me video—he sent me a video of himself and yeah, I think he's really talented."

Mark, 39—who produced and starred in The Fighter—was reluctant to give much detail about the upcoming movie but revealed that it will be a drama and Justin won't be singing in it.

He told New York Magazine: "We're going to do something interesting. More of a drama. It's interesting, right? You want to know.

"I will not [be singing] and neither will he."

He said: "I definitely want to do more acting, and further my career in that area, that's something I would love to do."

Matthew Morrison confirms "death" in Glee

Matthew Morrison confirms "death" in GleeMatthew Morrison has confirmed there will be a death in Glee.

After months of rumors that a character will die, the actor—who plays teacher Will Schuester in the hit musical show—revealed that someone unexpected will come to their demise and says the cast have already filmed the sad scenes at a funeral home.

He said: "Somebody's dying. Obviously I'm not going to tell you who it is, but it is no-one you would probably expect.

"The episode right before the finale is called 'Funeral.' We were actually at a funeral home yesterday, shooting all day. It was a very taxing day."

However, the 32-year-old star has told fans not to worry about him leaving the show, and denied that he is thinking of quitting.

While filming in New York this week, he told reporters: "What is that? I don't know where the people get that stuff. No, [I'm] not at all [thinking of quitting]."

Meanwhile, extra Nicole Crowther—who was recently fired from the show for revealing spoilers from the upcoming prom episode—has said she regrets putting the details on micro-blogging website twitter.

She messaged her followers hinting at who would be prom king and queen, angering producer Brad Falchuck who told her she shouldn't expect to work in entertainment anymore.

She told the Los Angeles Times: "I had no idea it would blow up like this, I do regret it."

Kate Middleton wants country garden for wedding with Prince William

Kate Middleton wants country garden for wedding with Prince William
Westminster Abbey is being turned into an indoor forest ahead of the royal wedding.

Kate Middleton—who is marrying Britain's second-in-line to the throne, Prince William, on Friday (April 29)—has reportedly ordered more than four tonnes of foliage, including eight 20ft-high trees, to recreate the look of an English country garden inside the historic church.

According to the Daily Mail newspaper, Kate's floral designer Shane Connolly has installed a "living avenue" within the Abbey, which the 1,900 guests will walk under to take up their seats, with six English Maple trees mirroring the famous arches of the religious building.

Believed to be costing £50,000 in total, each of the trees were hand-crafted by artisans working on Prince Charles' Highgrove Estate, while the rest of WestminsterAbbey will be decked out in lavish cream and white flowers.

Meanwhile, those visiting Queen Elizabeth's Balmoral Castle residence in Scotland on the day of the royal wedding will be able to watch the nuptials on a specially-installed 63-inch plasma television screen situated in the estate's vast gardens.

A spokesperson told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "Extra catering will be available and, of course, there will be bunting hanging out to get in the party spirit. Visitors are welcome to bring garden seating.

"Special parking is being laid on and we will be running short trips round the grounds on our special Land Rover Trailer. You will also be able to purchase royal wedding gifts from the bunting-decked gift shop."

Royal wedding fever has also started to grip London with pre-nuptial parties being thrown in the UK capital, including Freeview's Countdown to the royal wedding.

The exclusive bash was held at the upmarket Covent Garden Hotel and was attended by celebrity wedding co-ordinator Siobhan Craven-Robins, make-up artist Kate Benton, chartered psychologist Dr. Pam Spurr and former BBC royal reporter Jennie Bond.

Guests were treated to a Freeview HD box as it is the first time a royal wedding has been shown on TV in HD.

Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan

WHY IS HE FAMOUS

Jackie Chan is one of the world's biggest box-office draws, and is famous for his mind-boggling stunt work. Among his biggest worldwide successes are Rumble in the BronxShanghai Noon,Shanghai Knights, and Rush Hour 1, 2 and 3.

Jackie Chan Quote

"Don't try to be like Jackie. There is only one Jackie... Study computers instead."

92 MAGNETISM

There have been at least two reports of women committing suicide upon hearing that Jackie Chan has a girlfriend or is engaged. Woman magnetism? No, it's more like "woman death wish." He might not look like your typical Hollywood thoroughbred Ć la Brad Pitt, but never doubt Jackie's massive appeal with the fairer sex.

93 SUCCESS

Jackie Chan's accomplishments are so numerous that even MTV honored him with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1994. His film credits are so vast that Jackie sometimes has a hard time remembering all his performances.

But for a better indication of how much influence he carries in Asia, here is a little anecdote: He once mentioned a particular bottle of wine that he liked to a reporter. When the story got published, the price of that bottle of wine tripled and rapidly sold out across stores in Hong Kong. If only he would recommend stocks too.

JACKIE CHAN BIOGRAPHY

Jackie ChanJackie Chan (born Chan Kong-sang) can trace his origins to Hong Kong, where he was born to parents Charles and Lee-Lee Chan on April 7, 1954. His parents were so poor at the time of his birth, that they contemplated giving him up for adoption to the doctor who delivered him, since they couldn't afford the hospital bill.

But because the birth of their only child made it too hard to give him up, the Chan family labored in order to have money to raise their "Year of the Horse" son. Chan's father was employed as a cook in the French Embassy, while his mother worked as a housekeeper, but they eventually relocated to Australia, where his father worked as head chef in the American Embassy.

jackie chan, the artist

A 7-year-old Chan was sent back to Hong Kong, where he would become a student at the strict China Drama Academy for 10 years. There he endured 19-hour days of the kind of acrobatic action we see in Jackie Chan movies today; integrating mime, dance and martial arts, all thanks to very strict training.

Along with six more of the Opera Master's pupils, Chan (renamed Yuen Lou) became one of the sensational Seven Little Fortunes, after performing in an Opera of the same name. The Opera Master lent the septet as stuntmen to Chinese films, which is how Chan earned a reputation as an incredible stuntman.

After his introduction to the film company Golden Harvest, Chan began his stunt magic in the 1971 Bruce Lee films Fist of Fury andEnter the Dragon (he also made Asian film history as the only one to successfully complete an extremely high fall).

Chan was finally cast in a rather substantial role in the film The Little Tiger of Guanddong (1971) and appeared in John Woo'sHand of Death (1976). But when the leading martial arts master of the time, Bruce Lee, suddenly passed away, popular director Lo Wei wanted to prime Chan as the next dragon, and even bestowed upon him the name "Sing Lung," which means "to become the dragon."

jackie chan is a dragon no more

But after acting Ć la Bruce Lee proved to be a film disaster, Chan moved on to bigger plans and decided to go back to classic comedy and film as inspiration. Essentially, he wanted to use the slapstick antics of Buster Keaton and chivalrous grace of Fred Astaire, rather than the traditional kung fu style of action.

While a star in Asia, Chan had yet to break through with a hit in the United States. The late '70s and the '80s were marked by huge hits for Chan, such as Snake in the Eagle's Shadow (1978), Half a Loaf of Kung Fu (1978), Drunken Master (1978), and The Fearless Hyena (1979), Project A (1983), Wheels on Meals(1984), Dragons Forever (1988), and Miracles (1989).

Although he was signed with Golden Harvest, was Asia's highest paid actor, and had more than 60 films to his credit, Chan still had to succeed at what proved to be his toughest feat: Becoming a Hollywood star.

He got a break when he appeared in The Big Brawl (1980),Cannonball Run (1984) and The Protector (1985), but due to his poor English skills and even poorer promotion of the films in America, Chan wasn't more than a fleeting thought in the U.S.

But Chan scored during his second attempt to break into Hollywood, with the 1995 film Rumble in the Bronx. He was even honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 1994 MTV Movie Awards. His 1999 comedy opposite Chris Tucker, Rush Hour, received critical and commercial praise, while 2000'sShanghai Noon, with Lucy Lui and Owen Wilson, was also considered to be a great success for Chan -- and made Mr. Nice Guy (1997) pretty forgettable, thankfully.

Jackie Chan Makes Sequels And His Own Company

The runaway success of Shanghai Noon and Rush Hour inevitably led Jackie into making the sequels Shanghai Knights in 2003,Rush Hour 2 in 2001 and Rush Hour 3 in 2007. And though Jackie's box-office take in Hollywood proved to be more than most actor's could ever hope for, the superstar became tired with the treatment of Asian actors in Tinseltown. This dissatisfaction led Jackie to create his production company, Jackie Chan Emperor Movies Limited, which went on to produce many box-office hits in Asia, including New Police Story (2004), The Myth (2005) andRob-B-Hood (2006).

And though Jackie may have become disenchanted with Hollywood, he does pick and choose projects in L.A. when they interest him. Most notable among his North American projects is the the animated Kung Fu Panda (2008), in which he'll supply the voice of Master Monkeyand The Forbidden Kingdom (2008) with fellow martial-arts master Jet Li.

Morgan Freeman Quote

"I knew at an early age I wanted to act. Acting was always easy for me. I don't believe in predestination, but I do believe that once you get wherever it is you are going, that is where you were going to be."

75 MAGNETISM

Morgan Freeman once lamented in an interview that in the almost 40 years that he's been acting professionally, he has never had a romantic leading role, nor has he ever had an on-screen love interest.

We think that his smooth and sophisticated demeanor would make him a real charmer with those ladies who are into older gentlemen, something casting directors have overlooked up to now. We're sure that in real life, Morgan Freeman had his fun as a younger guy, but he has been a committed husband and family man since the mid-'80s.

84 SUCCESS
