Katy Perry has matched Michael Jackson's record of having five Number One hit singles from the same album on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The brunette beauty's latest release "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" made history as it became her fifth single from platinum record Teenage Dream to reach the top spot, following the success of "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream," "Firework," and "E.T."

The 26-year-old star took to her twitter account to announce the news earlier today (August 17), tweeting: "What a way to wake up! SO proud to announce that the little-engine-that-could of a song 'LAST FRIDAY NIGHT' is officially #1 & made HISTORY! (sic)"

Katy then praised her fans for helping her become the first woman to achieve the feat.

She wrote: "& u know, I couldn't have done it with out ya, really I owe u guys BIG... so take this moment to give yourself a high FIVE!!! #allbecauseofu (sic)"

The exploit was last achieved by Michael Jackson—who died in 2009 at age 50—when his 10-track album Bad featured five number one singles: "I Just Can't Stop Loving You," "Bad," "The Way You Make Me Feel," "Man in the Mirror," and "Dirty Diana" between 1987 and 1988 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Guests at Kim Kardashian-Kris Humphries wedding asked to wear black and white

Kim Kardashian's wedding guests have reportedly been told to wear black or white for her big day.

The reality TV star—who is set to tie the knot with basketball player Kris Humphries on Saturday (August 20)—will wear a Vera Wang gown for her marriage, but she does not want to "blend in" with friends and family at the ceremony.

An insider told HuffingtonPost.com: "Kim knows better than anyone how to stay dramatic and there is no way she would let herself blend in with everyone else at her wedding by wearing a white dress.

"If I know her, I bet she will wear red or some color so she pops against everyone else who will be in black or white."

The brunette beauty has also ordered "thousands" of South African roses to decorate the venue, which is thought to be near the Four Seasons resort in Montecito, California.

A source informed HollywoodLife.com: "Kim and Kris are getting married at an estate near the Four Seasons [in Montecito].

"Guests will be taken from the Four Seasons to the estate on Saturday in shuttle buses, with the windows blacked out.

"The theme and the decorations will be silver, white and black, and there will be hundreds of white roses from South Africa."

Prince Harry splits from lingerie model Florence Brudenell-Bruce

Britain's Prince Harry has split from his girlfriend.

The prince has called time on his two-month romance with lingerie model Florence Brudenell-Bruce—who is known as 'Flee' to friends—because he doesn't want to be "tied down" while he is busy with his military commitments.

A source told the Daily Mirrornewspaper: "Harry has a lot on his mind at the moment. He is concentrating on his Apache helicopter training. After that he's expecting to return to Afghanistan.

"Harry enjoyed spending time with friends over the summer, but he doesn't want to be tied town in a relationship when training, so he called time with Flee."

Just 10 days ago, it was revealed that Harry had introduced Florence to his brother Prince William and royal aides, and she had "gone down a storm" with members of the household.

A source said: "Flee has been introduced to William and to palace aides, which is a significant step.

"She has gone down a storm in the royal household. Harry's aides think she is sweet, funny and charming."

A royal spokesperson refused to confirm if the couple had separated.

Clarence House said: "We do not comment on Prince Harry's personal life."

Defense witnesses listed for Michael Jackson trial

Nine medical staff are set to give evidence that Michael Jackson was mentally unstable at the time of his death.

Lawyers acting for Dr. Conrad Murray—who is due to stand trial for the involuntary manslaughter of the music legend following his passing from acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009—have a list of 103 potential witnesses, including doctors and nurses, in hope of strengthening his claim that he did not administer the lethal dose of the anaesthetic that killed the iconic singer by exposing Michael's erratic behavior and demanding personality.

Among those who could be called as witnesses are Dr. Arnold Klein—a dermatologist who Murray's lawyers previously blamed for getting Michael addicted to painkillers—and Cherilyn Lee, a nurse who claims the "Thriller" hitmaker asked her for Propofol in the weeks leading up to his death, but she refused to supply the powerful anaesthetic.

A source told RadarOnline.com: "Cherilyn is prepared to testify at the trial and tell the truth. Cherilyn has never spoken with anyone from the District Attorney's office. She was interviewed in the weeks after Jackson's death by the coroner and the LAPD. Cherilyn hasn't heard from those agencies since that time."

Dr. Neil Ratner, who toured with the singer in 1996 and 1997 is also on the witness list following previous claims that he would keep medical equipment which would monitor his client's vital signs as he was "under."

Ratner was allegedly hired to combat the singer's sleep problems by "taking him down" and "bringing him back up", a CNN report has previously claimed.

It is expected that Murray's lawyers will quiz Dr. Ratner about the specific details of his medical treatment for the star, as he has previously refused to disclose more than the fact Michael had a sleep disorder.

Dr. David Adams, a Las Vegas anaesthesiologist who gave the singer Propofol at least four times for medical reasons, will also be asked to testify.

According to a source, the defense feels "Dr. Adams is clearly relevant."

Jury selection for the trial begins on September 8, with opening arguments scheduled to begin on September 26, with the case potentially lasting until November.

Dr. Murray could be jailed for up to four years if convicted of involuntary manslaughter.

The 35-year-old actress wed in a ceremony in Greece on Sunday (August 14), just a day after she had become engaged, she revealed on social networking site twitter.

Pacman invites Paris to House

MANILA, Philippines – Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao has invited American heiress and socialite Paris Hilton to visit the House of Representatives, a close friend of the Filipino boxing icon said on Monday.

Hilton arrived Sunday night at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on board Emirates Airways flight EK334 for a five-day stay.

In her tweet, she said: “Hi everyone in the Philippines. I’m coming out there and I’m really excited to see you all and also excited doing a very exciting project there.”

Pacquiao, who is serving his firm term in the chamber, wants to show Hilton where he performs as representative, said John Marvine Dadan, a consultant to Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. at whose wedding the boxing champion stood as principal sponsor.

Dadan said Pacquiao is also considering holding a news conference at the House with Hilton.

The two met in the United States after one of Pacquiao’s matches.

Hilary Duff is pregnant.

The actress-and-singer and her husband, NHL player Mike Comrie, are expecting their first child together and announced their happy news today (August 14) on their first wedding anniversary.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony split after failing to "see eye-to-eye" on Scientology.

The "On The Floor" hitmaker—who called time on her seven-year marriage to the singer last month—was reportedly hoping to send the couple's three-year-old twins Max and Emme to a specialist Scientology school. However, Marc wasn't so keen on the idea.

Russell Brand thinks the UK riots are "sad and frightening."

The British comedian—who now lives in Los Angeles with his wife Katy Perry—is upset as areas he has previously lived in London has been affected by the looting and violence in the last week and hopes his views do not irritate because he no longer lives in England.

He wrote on his website: "This week's riots are sad and frightening and if I have by virtue of my temporary displacement forgone the right to speak about the behavior of my countrymen then this is gonna be irksome.

"I've lived in Dalston, Hackney, Elephant, Camden, and Bethnal Green, I grew up around Dagenham and Romford and whilst I could never claim to be from the demographic most obviously affected I feel guilty that I'm not there now.

"I feel proud to be English, proud to be a Londoner (alright an Essex boy) never more so than since being in exile and I naturally begin to wonder what would make young people destroy their communities."

Although the 36-year-old star believes he does not know the answer to the problem—which was sparked by the killing of Mark Duggan by police on August 4—because of his celebrity lifestyle, he hopes people learn to deal with their problems spiritually.

He added: "I don't know enough about politics to ponder a solution and my hands are sticky with blood money from representing corporate interests through film, television and commercials, venerating, through my endorsements and celebrity, products and a lifestyle that contributes to the alienation of an increasingly dissatisfied underclass.

"But I know, as we all intuitively know, that the solution is all around us and it isn't political, it is spiritual. Gandi said, 'Be the change you want to see in the world.'"

Tina Fey gives birth to second daughter

Tina Fey has become a mother for a second time.

The 30 Rock actress—who already has a five-year-old daughter, Alice, with composer husband Jeffrey Richmond—gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday (August 10), her representative confirmed to People magazine.

The couple have called their new daughter Penelope Athena.

Before she announced her pregnancy, Tina revealed she felt guilty about Alice not having a brother or sister.

Writing in her memoir Bossypants, she said: "I thought that raising an only child would be the norm in Manhattan, but my daughter is the only child in her class without a sibling. Most kids have at least two.

"Who will be my daughter's family when my husband and I are dead from stress-induced cankers? She must have a sibling."

And while she loves being a mother, Tina has previously spoken of the difficulties of juggling child rearing with the demands of her career.

She said: "I never really believed it before, but when you have a child, there really aren't enough hours in the day to do anything.

"Basically, any free time that isn't spent looking after our daughter or working goes to sleeping."
